Nigeria rank in Africa by FIFA?
After the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations that ended on Sunday, February 11, the Super Eagles of Nigeria had a good campaign in Cote d’Ivoire for reaching the final were they lose 2-1 to host Cote d’Ivoire in the AFCON final. The disappointing end for the Super Eagles despite losing to Cote d’Ivoire was not all to take home but the great development and improvement from the Nigeria national team, which as a result led to the great change in the FIFA Africa ranking in 2024. This development was well examine by FIFA which resulted into an increase in both world and Africa ranking for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up to 24th in the latest FIFA rankings, which was released on Thursday. This achievement saw them displace Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria, and moving them into the top three best football playing nations in Africa.

The Super Eagles were the sixth-best team in Africa before AFCON 2023 which started on 11 January 2024 but after an amazing performance, having been unbeaten from the group stage to the final has seen Nigeria soar up to third place in 2024 fifa ranking.
