Al Nassr are closing in on Sadio Mane from Bayern
Sadio Mane transfer news, according to one of the most trusted transfer source Fabrizio Romano, Sadio Mane is close to leaving Bayern Munich for Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr close on completing the move from Germany to Saudi.
In a deal believed to be worth between €25 million to €30 million, Bayern Munich and Al-Nassr have reached an agreement, allowing the record champions to proceed with their plans without the Senegalese international, Sadio Mané. This move has also freed up approximately €24 million in wages for Bayern, which they intend to allocate towards securing the services of Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Despite Bayern’s preconceived intentions, Sadio Mané had hoped to stay and fight for his position in the team. However, due to pressure from the Bayern board, the 31-year-old had no choice but to reluctantly seek new opportunities elsewhere.
Following his decision to join Al-Nassr, Mané will see a significant boost in his annual salary, now reaching €40 million in Saudi Arabia. Although it was not the desired outcome, Mané expressed his heartfelt farewell to FC Bayern in an interview with Sky Germany, expressing his belief in his ability to have contributed to the team this season and his best wishes for the club’s future.
Having completed his medical in Dubai, while the Bayern squad embarked on their journey from Tokyo to Singapore, the transfer is expected to be officially confirmed in the upcoming hours. Unfortunately, Sadio Mané’s time in Munich has been lackluster and unfortunate, but he now looks forward to starting a new chapter in his career.
