According to information from renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is currently in the process of finalizing two major signings. The club aims to secure the services of Gonçalo Ramos (22) and Ousmane Dembélé (26) before the week concludes.
Paris Saint-Germain are ready to sign Dembélé and Ramos this week
In the case of Ousmane Dembélé, PSG has taken action by activating the €50 million release clause in his contract with Barcelona. This move gives the French giants a five-day window to engage in negotiations with Barcelona to potentially reach more favorable payment terms. Should these negotiations not lead to an agreement, the release clause will be paid in a single payment. Fabrice Hawkins, another reputable source, has disclosed that the signing of Dembélé by PSG is imminent. Once the formalities are completed, Dembélé is expected to sign a five-year contract with Les Parisiens.
RMC Sport and Le Parisien made a joint report on Wednesday, revealing PSG’s imminent plans to strengthen their forward line. While Harry Kane had been a prime target for Les Parisiens, the possibility of signing the England captain seemed to dwindle, leading PSG to set their sights on Benfica’s Ramos instead.
The media in France stated that Gonçalo Ramos has already reached a personal agreement with PSG. Renowned journalist Romano also confirmed that negotiations with Benfica are nearing completion. The proposed deal is valued at approximately €80 million, inclusive of add-ons. The finalization of agreements with both Ramos and Dembélé is on the horizon, and Ramos could undergo a medical examination in the upcoming days, with the intention of wrapping up both transfers by the week’s end.
