West Ham United has signed right-back Aaron Wan Bissaka from Manchester United on a 7-year contract. Wan Bissaka arrived at Manchester United 5 years ago, with 190 appearances for the red. Wan Bissika transfer fee is reported to be £15m.
Since his arrival at United, it took him until Erik Ten Hag signed as the head coach to get a trophy. Manchester United’s FA Cup win in 2024 and Carabao trophy in 2023 are the only trophies in AWB cabinet.
Aaron Wan Bissaka becomes West Ham’s eight signing following the arrival of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham, Max Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug, Guido Rodriguez and Jean-Clair Todibo.
This means Wan Bissaka will become the new number 29 jersey number for the London club.
“It was not a guess for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here,” Wan-Bissaka said.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming. I was born here, so I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me.
“I’m happy to be here, am grateful for the warm welcome, and I am excited to be playing for the Club and will give it my all.
“I can’t wait to get on the pitch, get to know the players, and push on from there. I see a team fighting together, that will push each other to win, and a group that has got each others’ backs through thick and thin.
So being part of that and having that insurance helps a lot when a good squad surrounds you.”
How Many goals did Wan Bissaka score for Man Utd
