Nigeria Super Eagles will commences their preparation on Wednesday for the coming AFCON qualifier game against Sao Tome. The three-time African champions head into the final qualifying game for the 2023 African Cup of Nations against Sao Tome and Principe next weekend at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Akwa Ibom State with high confidence, following their impressive 10-0 victory over The Falcons and True Parrots team in the first leg at the 12th of July Stadium in Sao Tome.
According to report the camp will be open on Wednesday against super eagles qualifiers match, the eagle head coach Jose Peseiro release his list of invited player which include three new player Gift Orban, Victor Boniface and Jordan Torunarigha.
Victor Osimhen who has scored seven goals in the qualifiers having two goals ahead of Senegal’s Sadio Mane, who might be a contender of the African best player award with the Nigerian striker. If Victor see’s the net against Sao Tome, he will likely become the top scorer in the qualifiers.
The super eagles qualifiers has been great for them with 12 point already in their group from their opening five matches in AFCON qualifying Group A after winning four games and suffering a solitary loss to Guinea Bissau in Abuja while Sao Tome has no chance of qualifying for the tournament.
